Risk Manager

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Risk Manager who will help protect our business by ensuring strong, consistent processes around insurance, claims, and incident management, while providing visibility into trends that help us improve over time. 

What You’ll Do 

You’ll play a key role in managing how we handle incidents and claims across the organization, while partnering with teams to improve consistency and reduce risk. 

  • Own the day-to-day management of workers’ compensation and general liability claims  

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators  

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, documentation, and follow-up on all claims and incidents  

  • Track and report on claims trends, helping leadership understand where risks are occurring  

  • Provide guidance to restaurant leaders on proper incident reporting and documentation  

  • Support the insurance renewal process and maintain coverage documentation  

  • Assist with liquor licensing and risk-related compliance processes  

  • Support new store openings by ensuring insurance and licensing requirements are in place  

  • Collaborate with HR and Training to provide insights that support safer operations  

  • Assist during major incidents or crisis situations as needed  

What We’re Looking For 

Requirements 

  • Experience supporting claims management, insurance processes, or risk-related functions  

  • Working knowledge of workers’ compensation and general liability claims processes  

  • Ability to coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, or third-party administrators  

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines  

  • Clear communicator who can work effectively with both field and corporate teams  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools  

Preferred / Nice-to-Have 

  • Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit operations strongly preferred  

  • Prior experience in claims management or risk management roles  

  • Exposure to insurance renewals or broker coordination  

  • Familiarity with incident reporting systems or safety programs  

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

  • Claims are handled accurately, consistently, and on time  

  • Leadership has clear visibility into risk trends  

  • Restaurant teams are supported and confident in incident reporting processes  

  • Insurance and compliance requirements are met without disruption  

Work Environment and Expectations 

This is a full-time, office-based role with occasional travel to support restaurant operations and new store openings. As an exempt position, this role requires flexibility to meet business needs, including responding to time-sensitive incidents when necessary.
